Departure to the capital of the province, city of Cádiz, known as the “Tacita de Plata” or “Silver Cup” because of its location on an island in the middle of marshes and coasts colonized by Phoenicians and Greeks more than 3,000 years ago. Cadiz was called the Spanish Havana, port of ships departing to America, cradle of sailors and mother of many sailors and those that emigrated to the “Indies”. Cadiz is famous for its charming carnival and its quartets, “murgas” and choirs that compete in sympathetic and dry humor.
